About The Job
Language Requirement: Proficiency in Kannada (mandatory)
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with external advocates and attend court proceedings as needed.
- Prepare and review legal documents including plaints, written statements, replies to legal notices, and affidavits.
- Case Management:
- Prepare detailed case notes and summaries
- Track and update case statuses regularly
- Manage certified copy applications and court filing processes
- Familiarity with online court portals for case tracking, application submissions, and e-filing.
- Handle real estate-related legal matters including RERA applications, hearings, and documentation.
- Litigation Support:
- Civil and DRT (Debt Recovery Tribunal) cases
- Police station (if required)
- Arbitration proceedings
- Coordinate legal strategy with internal stakeholders and external counsels
- Ensure all legal activities are in line with regulatory and company compliance standards.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- LLB or equivalent legal qualification
- 2–6 years of relevant experience in corporate legal or real estate legal matters
- Strong understanding of court processes and documentation
- Excellent drafting and communication skills
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple legal matters simultaneously
